The Healthy IU surveys, conducted in 2013, 2015, and 2019, have provided invaluable insights into the well-being of our IU community, thanks to the participation of thousands of employees. These surveys have led to significant changes and improvements to our resource and program offerings. As we embark on the 2024 survey, we aim to (1) assess the effectiveness of our support for employee well-being; (2) understand the evolution of work, life, and wellness in the post-pandemic landscape; (3) measure the perceived well-being of our employees; and (4) inform future enhancements to the Healthy IU programs and resources. Our focus is on the collective well-being of the IU community, not the health specifics of individual employees.
All Indiana University employees across all nine campuses and regional center locations are invited to participate.

Absolutely not. No personally identifiable information will be connected to your survey responses; therefore, the study team has no way of identifying you or your enrollment in IU benefits.
Once the results are compiled, aggregated university-wide data will be shared with employees and Healthy IU stakeholders in a number of ways. The Healthy IU website will serve as the main employee gateway for survey-related resources, documents, and results.
A survey team, including individuals from the Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health at IU Indianapolis and UITS Institutional Survey Support, is conducting the survey. This team is responsible for the design, collection, analysis, and reporting of results. Only this team will have access to the data, and this team will be solely responsible for analyzing and interpreting the results.
Funding for this survey is provided by Healthy IU; however no Healthy IU staff will have access to the raw survey data.
