Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk

Join the IU Southeast community for a 2-mile walk around campus. Please watch campus communications for more details, or contact Michael Day at IU Southeast Personal Counseling Services.
Indoor Walking Routes
“UC Big Loop” (.302 miles; approx. 3.31 laps= 1 mile): Start from the entrance by Campus Life through the bottom of UC. Go up the UCN stairs, around UCN, and back. Turn right past the coffee shop. Go up the admin stairs across the top floor and down the other stairwell that comes out behind the bookstore.
“UC Small Loop” (.228 miles; approx. 4.38 laps= 1 mile): Start from the entrance by Campus Life through the bottom of UC. Go up the UCN stairs, around UCN, and back, returning to the entrance by Campus Life, but without doing either stairwell in UC South.
Knobview Indoor Walking Path (.418 miles; approx. 2.39 laps = 1 mile): Start from the KV entrance closest to the commons. Go down and back through the main hallways, upstairs, including Ogle center lobby.
Gym in the Activities Center: 20 laps around the gym is a little over a mile.

Grenadier-Alumni Loop (Loop #1) (approximately .5 miles): Begin at the clock tower and continue on the sidewalk down Alumni Drive. Go around PS and CV and come up the hill between CV and LB. End back at the clock tower.
Orchard Loop (Loop #2) (approximately .4 miles): Begin at the clock tower and head between HH and US. Take a left down the sidewalk between HH and OL. Go around the sidewalk of OL and then alongside of the lake. Take a right at the Picnic Shelters toward UC. Walk behind UC, and end back at clock tower.
