Seasonal Flu Vaccines
Flu season can begin as early as October and last as late as May. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an annual seasonal flu vaccine (either the flu shot or the nasal spray flu vaccine) is the best way to reduce the chances that you will get seasonal flu and spread it to others.
IU BloomingtonFaculty, staff, and students may also attend one of our walk-in flu shot clinics available through November 7. View flu shot clinic dates and locations.
Free flu shots for faculty, staff & students. Must present IUPUI ID. Please wear clothing that allows easy access to your upper arm. Dates, times, and locations below:

Students, staff, and faculty age 18 and over are invited to get their flu shot on campus in Hayes Hall 001. No appointment is needed; however, you must come during clinic times, listed below.

- October 30th 9am-12pm
- October 31st 11am-1pm
- November 1 2pm-4pm
IU insured employees and their covered spouses are FREE. Everyone else $25 payable to Bursar.
Nursing students deadline for flu shot is November 1.

Flu shots will be available at the IU Northwest Campus Health and Wellness Center, located in Room 1027 of the Dunes Medical/Professional Building.

Fulltime employees covered by an IU-sponsored medical plan can receive the immunization at no cost by showing your Anthem ID card and bringing your university ID number. (Please note university ID numbers are not on Crimson Cards.)
Students, bring your IUN ID information to receive the immunization at no cost.
IU South Bend
Flu shots will be available at the IU South Bend Health and Wellness Center, at the Vera Z. Dwyer Hall- 1960 Northside Blvd. South Bend, IN. 46615.
Flu shots are available to students, staff, faculty and the community.

Spouses/Partners on IU Employee’s insurance are not covered to get a free flu shot at the Health & Wellness Center; please go to your primary provider’s office for the vaccine, or you may pay our fee of $25.00/per vaccine.
Students-$25.00- You can pay using your credit, debit, cash or can charge the fee to your student bursar account. Please bring Crimson Card and University ID number with you.
Community/other- $30.00- credit, debit, cash, or check is accepted. Please bring a form of ID.
The Health and Wellness Center will provide a receipt for all who need to submit for insurance reimbursement.
