Common Good: 4-Week Online Practice

Participate in Common Good to strengthen relationships, boost happiness, and brighten your world! This 4-week online practice will help participants tap into their powerful skills of: Gratitude, Purpose, Effective Communication, and Self-Compassion! Studies show a strong connection between these skills and our mental and physical well-being at work and home. Each week, participants will be introduced to a research-based practice that will help deepen these skills.

All IU employees, and their spouses, are invited to join us on this journey!

IUPUI Fresh Produce Market

Next Market: Thursday, August 24, 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., Campus Center 1st floor cafeteria. Stock up on your favorite local fruits and veggies "at-cost" — no price mark-ups! Chef will feature his seasonal dish of the month for lunch. Bring a friend! Markets are typically held on the 3rd Thursday of each month.

  • Save a life: CPR classes are available to you through IUPUI Environmental Health and Safety and the IUPUI Police Department. Please register for CPR/AED Training via e-training on one.iu.edu.
  • Be prepared, click to locate your AED.
  • Be safe at work! Environmental Health & Safety offers information and Ergonomic Evaluations to help you work well.
  • This IUPUI Self-Defense program focuses on awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training.

be HEALTHY (physically and mentally)

  • Get out and play! Campus Recreation provides many options including lunchtime yoga.  
  • Support student learning while getting InShape IUPUI. INShape IUPUI is a student-led personal training program that meets twice per week. 
  • Lap swim, aquatic programs and camps can all be found at the IU NatatoriumIndy Aquatic Masters practices at the IU Natatorium, helping adults of all ages and abilities incorporate healthier lifestyles through the sport of swimming.
  • Share the road and follow IUPUI Bike Rules even when using Pacers Bike Share. Learn about Indoor Bicycle Parking. Showers for Bicyclists: Located on 4th floor of Lockefield Village; all-gender shower. Please pick up the key at the front desk of the 4th floor; personnel typically available 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Take a break and move more on our Walking Trails.
