Health Screenings

Explore some on-campus ways to measure your health.

  • Health Screenings

All full-time IU faculty and staff and their spouses on an IU medical plan are eligible to receive an annual free health screening with $100 (before tax) incentive. The health screening measures biometrics such as blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose levels, and body mass index (BMI). Screenings can be done on campus (free) or with your primary care physician (Healthy IU does not pay co-pays or deductibles).

To find out about upcoming, on-campus screening dates and times, email healthyu@indiana.edu. Screenings are offered at IUPUC once per year.

  • Self-Monitoring Blood Pressure Machine

High blood pressure can lead to serious health risks. Because high blood pressure often has no symptoms, it’s important to regularly monitor your blood pressure.

The blood pressure machine on the IUPUC campus is located at the IUPUC Campus Center, 2nd floor near stairway of Entrance 2 (near glass-enclosed “bridge” that links the second floor).
